Pinot Noir from 1 hectare of 30 to 60+ year-old vines around the towns of Mavilly and Meloisey, the heart of the Hautes-Côtes (Upper Hills) of Burgundy. Planted in south-facing soils of clay, fossilized seashell, marble, sandstone, and limestone, and farmed by horses Safran and Reine, as well as the hands of vignerons-winemakers Morgane and Christian. Harvested October 1, 2017.
Whole cluster, native yeast ferment. Wooden basket pressed. Gravity propelled. Aged just under 1 year on its lees in neutral oak and racked once at bottling. Natural from vineyard to bottle – no sulfur or additives added anywhere. 4,000 bottles produced.

Pinot Noir from 50+ to 25 yr old horse-ploughed vines planted in south-facing clay, fossilized sea shell, multi-colored marble, sandstone and limestone pebble soils. Farmed, harvested and bottled by Morgane and Christian in Meloisey, the heart of “Hautes Côtes” Burgundy. Natural from vineyard to bottle. Harvested on October 9, this wine is a libra!
Whole cluster, natural yeast ferment, neutral wood, gravity propelled, wooden basket press and no sulfer added. 735 bottles produced.
